X-Large Marble Grape Cluster

This marble grape sculpture is a contemporary take on the mid-century popular export from Italy. The vintage Italian variety so often brought back as souvenirs from abroad were carved from scrap pieces of alabaster, attached with steel wire to left-over stems from grape vine and painted various colors. So many collectors have stripped their more distressed versions of their paint leaving the clusters in their natural state. We've created these without lacquer or paint and in four exaggerated sizes for added dramaticism.

Our grapes are made of hand-carved solid marble with attached natural wood stem which will vary as they are naturally grown.
